Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Ponder Private Limited ("we", "us", or "Parall") operates the Parall platform — an agent-native collaboration service for teams. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
By using Parall you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Data We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in through a third-party provider (e.g., Google OAuth) we receive the profile information that provider shares.
Messages and content
Parall stores the messages, files, tasks, wiki pages, and other content you create or share through the platform so that we can deliver the service reliably.
Usage and analytics
We collect anonymous usage data — page views, feature usage patterns, and session information — to understand how the product is used and where to improve it.
Crash and error data
When something goes wrong, we automatically collect crash reports, error logs, and device or browser metadata to diagnose and fix issues.
2. Why We Collect Data
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Parall service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Improve reliability, performance, and user experience
- Diagnose errors and respond to support requests
- Communicate service updates and security notices
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use message content to train machine learning models.
3. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services:
- Sentry— crash reporting and error tracking. Sentry receives error data and device metadata when errors occur.
- PostHog— product analytics. PostHog receives anonymous usage events to help us understand feature adoption and improve the product.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)— cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored and processed on AWS servers.
- Cloudflare— content delivery and edge security.
Each third-party provider is bound by their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers operated by Amazon Web Services in the United States. We apply industry-standard security measures — encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, regular security reviews, and infrastructure monitoring — to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
No system is 100% secure. We commit to promptly notifying affected users if a data breach occurs.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).
Anonymous analytics data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and associated personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@parall.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Parall is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@parall.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use of Parall after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
